Welcome to the I Love Hits tutorial pages. I have added these pages to give you some useful and practical tips and tricks that have helped me in my online surfing and will hopefully help you get the most from your membership at I Love Hits.

Traffic exchange advertising is one of the most effective means of promoting a website online, when you do it right. A lot of people will fail at their hit exchange promotions because they do not know some of the very basic and simple things they can do to maximize their time online.

I hope the following 'lessons' help each of you discover the power of I Love Hits and you can learn something that can help in all your hit exchange advertising. I hope you enjoy these tips and tricks.

Start Surfing

What you are here to do, what the program is, and what it continues to improve upon. This is how you start your surfing sessions and how you get traffic to your web site. Click on this link and presto, instant web site traffic!

Buy Credits

If you do not have the time to surf, or wish to receive a lot of traffic, purchasing hits in I Love Hits is an option. I Love Hits currently has some of the most affordable prices for online traffic on any traffic exchange and we aim to give customers the best value for their money.

Upgrade

I Love Hits offers three member options. When you sign up, you are a Light Weight member. This is the free member and gives you access to the I Love Hits members area. However, for members who want to either surf a lot and earn a better surf ratio, the Heavy Wight and Middle weight upgrades are available.

These options are for everyone. If you want to surf a lot, these options give you a tremendous surf ratio as well as many other bonuses. If you do not want to surf everyday, the upgrades give you guaranteed traffic each and every month.

Again, I Love Hits makes sure you get the best value for your money. Click on 'Upgrade' for a list of features and bonuses each upgrade gets you.

Message Box

This is your message box where you can contact your downline and upline with any questions or concerns you have. A great networking tool and should be used with great respect for your team. Offer support and BUILD YOUR NETWORK! It works!

My Web Sites

When you first signed up for an account, you inserted your URL that you wish to promote in the form. This is your default URL and will be where 50% of all the traffic you earn will be delivered to. Let's take a look at the 'Sites' page in your account. It's two buttons below the Tutorial option on the left menu box.

When you click on 'Sites' you will see your website in the middle of the page, well a link to your website at least. This is where you can edit, remove and add new sites. As a Light Weight member (free member) in I Love Hits, you can add up to 3 different URLs. You can click on the site name to change it's title, edit the URL or remove it completely, place the URL on hold, or change your CPD (Credits Per Day - The maximum amount of hits per day your site will receive).

If you click directly on the URL itself, it will pop up in a new window. This is good to test your URL and make sure you are sending traffic to the right site. Beside that is the amount of hits you have received to that site, your current auto assigned % of the site (default is 50% for Light Weight members), how many hits you have remaining to that URL, your CPD (the default is zero which means unlimited) and finally the status of your site (on Hold or Rotating)

My Banners

The next menu option on the left is your banner rotator. Click on 'Banners' to see your banner menu. If you have no banners in rotation, you can add them here. Remember, you earn banner impression every time you surf in I Love Hits, it's a good idea to insert a banner now and get some impressions delivered. To do this, first name your banner. If you are promoting a business opportunity through the banner, a good practice is to name the banner after your opportunity (example would be Affiliate Funnel if you are promoting that program).

Next, copy and paste the banner URL in the box that says Banner URL. A banner URL will have either .gif or .jpg file extension on it and then finally where the banner is going to link to. Place the URL to your business / website in the final space provided. Click save, and you now have a banner in rotation.

You now have two options, either assign un-used traffic credits to the banner. These will be worth more if you are an upgraded member, but for Light Weights the current exchange ratio for credit to banner impression is 10:1. Meaning for every credit you spend you will receive 10 banner impressions.

The next option is to assign your current banner impressions which you have earned from surfing, directly to the banner of your choice. You can have up to 3 banners as a Light Weight member and the small drop down box can determine which banner will receive the impressions.

My Text Links

Another useful feature of the I Love Hits hit exchange system is our text impressions. You can add a small text link to your surf bar by adding it here. Click on 'Text Links' to view this feature.

First, name your link. Just like in the banner impressions, you should name it after the site you want to promote. Then put in the URL you wish the text to link to. And finally, add your text. It's a very small piece of the website, so you should have something that captures people's attention. A small but effective one line sentence works best.

After you have submitted it, you can assign your unused traffic credits and exchange them for text impressions. These are much higher than banners and you can get a very good exchange ratio as a Light Weight member. You also earn impressions while you surf, so next you can assign your unused text impressions to the link as well.

Assign Credits

This is a very important link in your I Love Hits account. This is where you can assign your credits to the URLs in your account. As well, this is where you change your auto-assigned percentages.

When you click on the 'Assign Credits' button you are taken to a site where all your websites are listed. For the example, we'll assume this is a Light Weight account and you have 3 URLs in your members area. You will see above the URLs how many un-assigned credits you have remaining in your account. You can assign these credits to any of the 3 URLs.

The auto aassign menu is below this and this is where you will assign credits to your default site. When you surf, at least 5-% will go directly back into the system, so this is where you will choose which site gets these hits. You can split it up to assign 10% to one URL, 20% to another and a final 20% to the last URL. As long as you are assigning a total of 50%, this is what counts. You are free to assign all 100% of your credits earned to these sites, and this may be a good practice if you do not want the trouble of assigning hits manually.

And finally you can move credits from one site to another in the box below. If Site 1 is performing better than Site 2, this is where you can move your credits around. A useful tool if you want to focus your promotions on one URL.

Edit Profile

This is where you can change your e-mail address, password and referral notifications. Please make sure you have a working e-mail address and do not use any auto responders. This is how I get a hold of you, and is how I can communicate important updates to the members.

Also if you want to change your password, you can do it as well. You will need to put in your current password as well, to change it to a new password. And finally if you want to not receive e-mails when you refer a new member, you can change that option as well.

Referrals

The next menu option is your referral center. This page will show you all the members you referred to the program. It will also show you how many credits they have earned, and how many credits they have earned for you. As an upgraded member you can transfer credits to your downline to help them out, if you so wish.

Also, you can now view exactly what program you received your referrals from. This will tell you which other exchanges and systems have been helping you build your ILH team!

This brand new feature of ILH is very unique. Simply put, it's a way to build your downline in the program but at the same time, brand yourself, your name and your thoughts about ILH. Give your own testimonial, or quick word about ILH and put a picture of yourself up on the splash page. And then be sure to include your name and presto, you are on your way to 'branding' success.

Tell-A-Friend

This neat little feature of I Love Hits allows you to send an email message to anyone you wish to tell them about the program. It`s a great way to build your ILH team and a great way to stay in contact with your network of associates online.

My Site Rankings

Want to know what people think of the web sites you are promoting in I Love Hits? Get valuable member feedback here and see what people think about your sites. This is a great way to get a feel for what is working and what is not in your advertising efforts.
