First off, I’ve got to give credit to Mr Tim Linden for creating one of the coolest new tools for your traffic exchange enjoyment, it’s the ‘TE Live Toolbar’ and you can download it for free and completely customize it your your surfing needs…
K, so we surfed again live today at Traffic Exchange Live and I’ve got to say, I think we complicate this entire advertising gig in the traffic exchanges more than we need two…
Ready for the broken record?
It’s called the two B’s of the T.E.’s and it goes like this…
That’s it! That’s the only two things you should be doing if you spend any time at all in the traffic exchanges. Far too many times we saw huge affiliate sales pitches, ridiculous claims of bogus income potential, poorly designed splash and squeeze pages and next to NO personal branding.
Simple simple simple stuff. Stick your photo, your name , your logo on a squeeze page and then build your list using a lead capture form on the page.
Even if the person doesn’t sign up immediately, your personal branding will stick. The more your site is seen, the more people ‘get to know you’…The more people ‘get to know you’ the more potential you have to creating a relationship with that viewer.
Is it the ’sexy’ answer? Not at all. Does it take work? Yup!
Does it work? Absolutely…
Give it try, practice the Two B’s of the T.E.’s and if you don’t see results in 6 months from now, come to this blog and tell me…I can almost guarantee your success if you follow these two steps and stick with them!

I guarantee you will see results in less than 6 months. I have tried to be more focused recently (Focus will be my ‘Word for 2010′) and work on the 2 ‘B’s’. Now this won’t come as a surprise to you but it will to the vast majority of TE users…IT WORKS!
I now join you and all the others preaching the gospel!
And thanks to AdKreator, TEToolbox, EasyHits4U, Splashpagemaker, BuildYourListWithEase, AllAboutListbuilding etc – it is so easy to do – there really is no excuse now.
In fact my experience has given me an idea for a TE related service/product – I just need to focus on it.

Ya, I think the message I’m trying to get across is that perhaps we complicate things and we should all keep it simple.
Build your list, using great squeeze pages with catchy hooks. Brand yourself by networking, getting your face / name out there…
Simple.

Actually, it’s ALOT harder than you make it to normal people. You see, from birth people are trained solely to watch Television and work a 9-5 type job for their entire lives after school. What I’m getting at is this: people NEED to be instructed EVERY step of the way and if they get confused at ANY point for ANY reason, they will automatically give up. Another thing to mention is that people completely lack ANY sort of creativity and have an attention of oh say, like 5 seconds, meaning they would do something that’s plug-n-play then surf(Like a generic affiliate page) and hope for the best rather than do anything that may actually help then.
